The practical details
Arrival times, the gate code, parking, dogs and what is already waiting for you in the lodge. If something is not covered here, ask when you enquire.
Arriving
Check in from 16:00 on the day of arrival.
Early or late times
An earlier arrival or a later departure may be possible if the changeover allows, at £50 each way. Ask us before you travel.
The gate
The site is behind an electric gate. Your entry code is sent to you before you arrive, along with directions.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome in The Manor, arranged in advance, at £15 per dog per night. A maximum of two dogs per booking, and kept on a lead in the grounds.
Beds and linen
All bedding and towels are included, and beds are made up ready for your arrival.
Kitchen
Gas hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster. A washing machine is fitted in The Manor only.
Fishing
Two pegs on the lake come with every lodge. Rules and any licence requirement are confirmed when you book.
Larger groups
Group bookings may carry some restrictions, so tell us who is coming and we will confirm what is possible.
Quiet hours
Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. Sound carries a long way across open water.
Barbecues
Each lodge has its own barbecue, and there is a picnic area to use. Outdoors only, and embers go in the steel bins provided. Safety guidance.
Welcome pack
A small pack of essentials is waiting in the lodge to start your stay off.
Leaving
Please depart before 10:00 on your final morning.
Parking
On site, beside your lodge, with room for at least two cars.
Smoking and vaping
Not permitted inside any of the accommodation. You are welcome to smoke on your own decking, where an ashtray is provided.
Heating and power
Combi boiler with gas central heating, double glazing, and gas and electricity included.
Television and Wi-Fi
A smart TV in every lodge, so you can sign in to your own streaming accounts. Wi-Fi is available on site.
Sauna
A four person barrel sauna can be booked alongside your stay, at £50 a night for the same nights as your lodge.
Babies
Babies count towards the total number of people in your party.
Hot tub
Arbourthorne Lodge has a hot tub on its decking. The Manor and Wybourn Lodge do not. It is drained, cleaned and refilled between bookings, and the safety rules are worth reading before you arrive.
Refuse
The bin for household waste is on the park, signed, just before the main gate.
Out of hours
A number for urgent problems outside office hours is in your arrival information and displayed in the lodge.

Lee and David answer the phone between 9:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday. If something about your group, your dates or your dog needs checking, it is quicker to ask than to guess.
